Terms of use.
Last updated September 3, 2026. These terms cover alignedpathinsurance.com, the advisor tools, and the advisor portal. Using them means you accept these terms. Questions are welcome at hello@alignedpathinsurance.com.
Who you are dealing with
Aligned Path Insurance Solutions ("Aligned Path") is the name Caleb Dupae, a licensed insurance producer in Austin, Texas (Texas resident license, NPN 20750662), does business under. It is an independent insurance brokerage, and "we" on this page means Caleb. When a policy is placed, the carrier pays Aligned Path a standard commission. How that works is explained on the compensation page.
What the site is, and is not
The guides, articles, tools, and calculators on this site are general education about how insurance works. They are not individualized insurance, legal, tax, or investment advice, and reading them does not make you a client. Tool results depend entirely on what you enter and on assumptions stated on each tool; they are a starting point for a conversation, not a recommendation.
Aligned Path is not securities-licensed and does not offer variable annuities, variable life insurance, or investment advice.
A quote is an estimate. Coverage begins only when the carrier, or someone it has authorized, confirms that coverage is bound or in effect and any conditions it sets are met. The policy, binder, conditional receipt, or carrier notice controls over anything on this site. Nothing here binds coverage or promises that a carrier will approve an application.
Quote requests and applications
Submitting a quote request or application asks us to shop for coverage on your behalf. You agree that the information you give is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge, because carriers rely on it. A material misstatement or omission may affect eligibility, premium, coverage, or the payment of a claim, subject to the policy and applicable law. We may decline a request or stop work on it, and we will say so if we do.
A financial advisor who submits a quote request for a client on our public forms confirms, on the form, that they have the client's permission to share the client's information with us for that purpose, and we keep that confirmation with the request. An advisor who refers a client another way is making the same representation.
Advisor portal accounts
Advisor portal accounts are for the person they were issued to. You agree to keep your login private, to use two-factor authentication when it is offered, and to tell us promptly if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity you authorize under it. We may suspend an account that is used to access information it is not entitled to see or to interfere with the site.
How we communicate
We communicate by email, by phone, and through the advisor portal. A carrier may ask for its own consent before it delivers policy documents electronically, and you can ask the carrier for paper copies at any time.
Acceptable use
Do not use the site to submit information about a person without their permission, to probe or disrupt the site or its infrastructure, to scrape personal information, or to break the law. Reading and quoting the educational content for non-commercial purposes, with attribution, is fine.
Third-party links and tools
The site links to carriers, brokerage partners, advisor directories, regulators, and other outside sites, and the optional policy import runs on a third-party service. Those sites and services have their own terms and privacy practices, which we do not control.
Limits on our responsibility
The site and tools are provided as they are. We work to keep the content accurate and current, but insurance rules, carrier guidelines, and tax treatment change, and we cannot promise the site is error-free or always available. To the extent the law allows, Aligned Path is not liable for losses that come from relying on the site's general content or tool results rather than on a policy, a carrier's written decision, or advice from a professional who knows your situation. Nothing here limits responsibility that Texas insurance law does not allow a producer to limit.
Privacy
What we collect, who sees it, and how long we keep it is covered by our privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and any dispute about them will be handled in the courts located in Travis County, Texas.
